HAUTE COUTURE A/W 2017: TRENDS TO LOOK OUT FOR

09:52

After analysing some of the upcoming trends for A/W this year, I have found that the colour scheme is very optimistic and colourful.
From Paris Fashion Week, Fendi caught my eye, the royal blues, oranges, reds and yellows are immense and perfect for when the leaves start turning yellow and the temperature drops. Almost reminding us that summer has gone but we are not ready just yet, to agree with that.

Versace, also at Paris, showcased extremely delicate almost minimalist couture that look sleek and sophisticated. But also the colour scheme the complete opposite to Fendi's perspective, involved peachy tones, whites, creams and pastels.

Maison Margiela displayed a lot of brown dusky tones, almost mirroring the season atmosphere and mood. The collection offered a lot of layering, a trend repeated previously last A/W. The coats in the collection were big, and emphasised the warmth and style that should be considered in the colder seasons that will be coming.

Yumi Katsura's vision involved so much pattern and exotic colour and cuts, perfect to brighten up the winter days both day and night. I adore the flowing fabrics that flared the runway in Paris this year.

So many amazing Haute Couture runways this year, and these are just a few of my favourite picks!

Much Love
