So on the June the 15th me and my best friend of 14 years jetted off on our first girls holiday to Venice in Italy. Italy is a destination i have been wanting to go to for a very long time and having had the opportunity to go such a beautiful country with such lovely company was the best combination. 

The gelato, the pizza, the boats, the shops and the scenery were all so unreal. Venice is gorgeous in pictures but to visit it in person is on another level the buildings and the sea that surrounds them looks like a mesmerising painting. 

...and of course as soon as i stepped off the plane and reached Marco Polo Airport i spotted some eye candy straight away. 

Three days and three nights in Venice was the right amount as there is only so much walking around and visiting different places you can do although the views are gorgeous and i could stay there forever just looking at the sun set sat by the sea with some spaghetti carbonara, which is exactly what i did on the last night after a visit to the Sky Bar at the Hilton Hotel in Giudecca which i defiantly recommend. 

The Ambaciatori hotel was four stars and was on point in every form, i was very impressed. The hotel we stayed at was a ten minute bus ride across the bridge from the heart of venice which didn't take long to lead us to the beautiful city built around sea. 

I want to go again!
